F30 320i Aircon blower noise sigh

Hi everyone, any of you guys experience noise issue with your F30 aircon blower.... last sunday morning when
I started the car in the morning I noticed there is a change in noise from the blower.... I thought it was just a blip then
I engage max fan in manual and it turn horrendous.... I have booked a service with PML on the 9th April to get it fix...

Any experiences similar to mine? I just hope they repair it properly without scratching any of my interiors (I doubt so)
and don't miss any bolt and make the car with noise......

Noise resolved?

I feel aircon blower is louder than most cars anyway even on the lowest.

Bro... common issue on f20 n f30... cos the filter part is loose. Bt some said leaves went in. Anyway half day job.

Yes bro. Its under warranty. Mine i fix few months back. Nw swee swee. My fren 316 juz went in ytd. Same issue.

I had a similar experience couple weeks after i took the car, a year ago, you won't believe the cause that PML discovered after i brought the car in 3 times! Some leaves got into the aircon air vent and the blower start to hit the leaves and produce a noise like a motor boat! LOL! Now it's working perfectly.

Hi guy,
Recently having this noise prob too...previously did not hv Tis prob.
Anyone noe if this cn be rectify by ourself?
I mean how to chk whether gt leaves stuck in the vent or any parts loosen.

I had similar problem - after couple of checks PML located the problem to a loose leaf got sucked into the blower and made all the noise like a boat! They recommended that I clear the leaves periodically, and before I send car to wash with high pressure water jets that actually "blow" the leaves into the inner compartment and blower.

I just sent car in for 2nd time cleaning of leaves... still on warranty!
Advice I got is clean leaves self regularly. And only send car in for pressure jet car wash after leaves are cleared.
Good housekeeping practice I feel.

Bro,ask them check on the filter c if its loose. They wil put an extra cover 2 prevent leaves frm going in again. Cos mine 1yr passed liao no more issue. Cannot b everytime got problem u go back. Waste time leh

PML changed the cover after first experience, 2nd time happened more than one year later...

Normal car wash lor! They always spray jets at opening of bonnet below windscreen. PML explained the loose small leaves could be forced into the blower well... Funny problem
