F30 320i Paddle Shift Issue

Hi ppl,

Can I check where would I be able to send the car to check should the paddle shift is not working apart from PML.

And should it be able to repair what will be the estimate cost.

Any inputs is greatly appreciated.

What u mean by not working? Up and down shift when pressed but not shifting? See what’s the fault code first.

The paddles itself ain’t expensive.

Yup, when pressed the gears are not shifting.... have not send the car to WS to diagnose yet.

Both also not working? Chances of both failing at the same time is not high. U retrofitted it?

Hi, manage to find out the fault... really love the BMW diagnostic tools... can pin point to which could be the faulty part.

End up is the steering column switch cluster is the culprit as tested both the paddle shifter are working just the its not sending the signal to respective component to let is chsnge gear.
