Just recalled that I have a friend living in Melborune. She bought a show room range rover. A few days later salesperson called that they made a mistake that the showroom car was sold but was not updated in the system. They offered her a new car at showroom price, on top of that free servicing and goodies for the mistake without my friend asking. And they do that in an apologetically way.

I am totally impressed.

Actually the day b4 ytd i open up still ok. Only ytd i open n saw it. So the leak havent really flow down 2 the base cover. Bt already confirm. Btw,i seems 2 b the first in singapore in F code bmw wif a engine leak. Hmm...

That is just a shame for it to happen at 6k.

Ask them to look at the bolts etc that secures the area where the leaks are happening.

The leak is from the middle or top part of engine? Coming out from where?

Must sure PML explain to you what happened? Why? And how they rectify and if you can accept, since they deliver a lemon. Any compensation for downtime and money wasted.

Yes. Tis is gd service. If pml dun gv me a gd ans i wil shoot all the way up. Repair car very sian 1 leh. Once they touch on something,other sure spoil after tat. They still dare tel me no replacement car 4 me. Wtf. Its nt s if i spoil it. Spent money n make myself miserable

Yes, hear their diagnosis and rectification methods in details first. Know if they report this to BMW Asia and know what would they do. Tell them that you feel cheated and questions the reliability of your current car. Likely there is an installation fault of the engine. Ask them after rectifying, would there be leaking on the same part or other parts. If such thing happens again, surely the car is lemon, then get them to warrant their rectification otherwise they need to compensate you another car. There is definitely an internal protocol about car with constant problems, since BMW is a big company with ISO and quality control.
If they cannot make decision, just tell them you want to see their Director, because this is big issue and reputation of BMW at stake. Anyway nothing for you to lose liao, a person verse a big corporation, who's stake is bigger?

Stay calm and listen carefully who's interest is compromised. Know your rights and they have to do what they supposed to do right, not what they/individual think it is right. It is a Germany company.

It depends nowadays. I hope they improved. I feel that our overall services standard is sub to our current economy status and consumers' rights are weak too. Cost of running businesses is high, mainly goes into rental and high properties cost, labour cost can get cheaper ones so it became difficult to retain trained personnel and overall mgmt of such businesses may overly emphasize on bottom line. It all depends on their mgmt mindset.

Bro brosiss, thanks man. Anyway i dun care abt the appt date. I juz send in on mon liao. Tis is nt the worse case liao. Juz got back frm outside. My staff drive my van n bang ah neh. Dun noe how the insurance n tat ah neh also. When some1 is down on luck. All bad things sure cum.

sorry to hear bout the leak, but frankly its not PML who build the car, its BMW. i hope they can get it rectified for you. typically, they don't always have replacement cars on hand, the last time i was issued one they had our 5 series for a month (even bmw couldn't figure out the problem) and for the initial appointments we didn't have a car.

i assume they suggest coming back another day so they can have minimum downtime for your car? that said, some external workshop sponsors here have advised me not to change parts cos still ok. then next day car breakdown in the middle of the road and can't even send a tow. instead, PML tows away to fix immediately same day. so i sorta trust pml would prioritize it if really urgent.

but i hope you get the car back soon and no need for a loaner car at all. its not fun having your car stuck in the garage.

True bro. Bt they told me dun hv at all. If i scratch my bumper n they do the paintwork n dun provide replacement i understand. Bt if its tech fault n they dun provide then i think its nt nice liao. Tis morning show a bro driving 316i abt my issue also. Whole car. Think his jaws nearly drop too. Small issue i dun mind. If engine then its a no no. Its juz like i bought a car wif heart attack born.

Told me cannot loan bmw. I juz nid a car 2 run ard. So got a ford focus. Very f car bt at least i can use it. Hopefully my car repair liao swee swee

Ford focus nt saying nt gd. Juz tat im used 2 my car. The steering is 2times heavier than my 320. Floor it bt machiam like playing go kart. Bt at least got car lah. Dun gv me car is like chopping of both my leg. Got car at least i still can hop on 1 leg
