I didnt do a detail research, but think based on 316i basic config, PI should be 160k (listed on sgcarmart) versus AD of 168k.

I've checked PI...
They have quoted 199,800 for 328i, a saving of 38K from PML nett price.
PI car without navigation and keyless entry, but with sunroof.

Go to BMW UK to check whether it is worth it or not lor

without navigation means totally don't have screen or got screen but no NAV?
if got screen ... then can local retrofit at elebest or soundwerkz
saving of $38k can do a lot of things
but if no screen ... that's a NO NO ... the dashboard without a screen is worst off than a japanese or korean car

To me, the difference in features bewteen AD & PI cars are quite insignificant, so shall I go for AD or PI if the price differential is 38K?

if difference is only $8K ... better get AD la ... got NAV somemore

if PI can sell 316i $38K cheaper ... PML profit margin is really .... what-the-xxxx

The screen is also different, only the dashboard mount is the same... to retrofit, whole headunit (and maybe the combox/bluetooth as well), screen from 6.5" to 8.8", the idrive shortcut button (3 button to 5 button)... a lot of wiring and prolly GPS receiver also

You are right...no wonder somehow I feel the screen on the dashboard of the PI car is smaller than the AD's...

$8k is NOT savings ... the missing keyless entry + NAV options already cost $8k

316 & 320 basic doesn't have NAV unless option in by buyer (indent)... 320 "lines" (sport/luxury) will have NAV as standard (PML standard )

you will have to check with PI workshop if they have minimally ISTA/P to do the software upgrades you're asking, there are many 'channel' to get this, so long they are getting regular updates then "software upgrade" won't be an issue - otherwise $20K (or is it $30K?) adoption fee will come in

btw, i want to make clear no offense to 316 buyer. i am disgusted that bmw car has gone down to a sibei low spec that is worst off than japanese and korean car.

i wish to say a bmw is still a bmw ...

As a fan boy, i don't mind as long as the price matched the spec provided it is an IL6.
