finally!.. i myself had the chance to see how frigginly fast this car is.... i was following you about 2 car lengths away along stevens road on the centre lane when you suddenly blasted ahead to get to right lane turn-off leading to ardmore..all in less that 20m... bloody orgasmic bro.. in a blink of an eye..... (I gotta giv u a buzz to seek higher wisdom..:furious: )...

- when was the original registration? 04/89
- when exactly does the COE expire? 04/09
- did it originally have a manual transmission? nope, i changed it when i bought the car
- what is the current mileage on the chassis? appx, 140,000kms
- what is the current mileage on the engine since rebuild? appx 35,000kms
- who rebuilt the car and services it? engine builder in KL, and Goodwill (Mr. Lim) services it in SG
- is it safe to assume that it has never been in an accident? yes

Roadtax renews every July and costs appx S$2400.
Car costs appx S$2,600 per year to insure.
I have no idea what the value is of the COE. I guess most cars sold in '89 had a similar price so maybe that helps????
No offence to you Fox, as I have not spoken to you yet, but if you folks think of this car in terms of buyin some 17 yr old average car at paper value, you are sadly looking in the wrong place, and wasting my time. If you are a serious buyer, and have a fukkin clue about cars, especially BMW's, then let's talk. Otherwise, good luck in your search for whatever your lookin for

Hihi thanks for the detailed response. No offence taken, and rest assured I had no intention of making a lowball offer, having seen what you were asking for previously.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to obtain more secure parking arrangements for this additional car, and will not be able to buy a convertible at this point.
I saw your car at Forum last weekend. It looks really fabulous.

My cab is for sale again....recently added a new interior, the very rare M-Tech EVO cloth with German leather bolsters. The EVO cloth is from BMW and only appeared in the very limited production M-Technic cabriolets & E30 M3 EVO 2. Pics will be posted once i get back in town ay the end of Sept.
