Faulty central locking

The left door lock of my e46 318ci is not working properly. It does not unlock when activated by remote control or the in-car cetral locking button. Locking function is OK though. Does anyone know where I can get it fixed? Many thanks in advance.

is that common in e46 coupe? im experiencing the same prob too..but nv got down to solving it...

Re: Faulty central locking

It may be as simple as a blown fuse. Call PML emergency -- they will fix it FOC. They did for my out-of-warranty E90.

Thanks to all for the useful info. Will decide what to do next.
Best regards,

Most likely is the door latch sensor, ask your wireman man to check it

Hi Steven,
Thanks for your tips. I got it fixed at M & Q. There charges were reasonable.
