FC went to the dogs after rebuilding gearbox!

Which shop u go to to rebuilt ur AT. $1800 including oil and gst is dirt cheap i think. my gearbox have already been punished for 260,000km. wonder how much longer will it last?

Can tell me which shop u went to to? :twisted:

260K km!!! Seem that your ATF is solidly built mayb, tat y long lasting

guys, i really envy ur rides for the mileage u quoted. I max can hit ard 500km IF i do lots of highway travelling. else it wld be a pathetic 450km n dat is needle close to the 'E' marking. car is STOCK. :verysad:

Sorry but i think your gearbox is gone by the look of it..

It happens when u change ATF on a gearbox that has not been touch for a while.

Telltale sign is that the rev go up w/o speed. That is a sign of slippage.

Do a load test on the torque convertor by stepping the brake and the accelerator together, if the revv keep going up, then the torque convertor might be gone...
