Features that I never knew

Bro,

probally you will only notice this feature if you had driven a jap car. i drove a 2.3 nissan and it tends to either over steer / under steer when you try to acclerate thru road interchages when exiting. However in our cars, the car is very stable and you can acclerate thru safely. Try it but check there is no cars behind or beside you first pleasse...

I guess you're talking about clover-leaf exchanges rather than the straight exits.

I used to drive a Toyota Corolla so I know -exactly- what you mean.. it's quite scary to exit a clover-leaf exchange at high speed in those things.. the nose seems attracted to the side walls.. :( And the body roll.. Xp

In the bimmer on the other hand.. it just keeps its course perfectly!

LOL - something similar happened to me recently. Although the lights did not laugh at me, I was cursing myself as I had to take a taxi home to get the spare key.

hahah better than another forummer here who did it at a rest stop at the north south highway. A friend had to bring the spare key up from singapore after attemps to smash the window didnt work. Bro, if you're reading this...... hahahaha:shakemyb:

jap cars are fine actually if you control the gas pedal, what i noticed with my latio was that if you gas-in, it understeers, and if you gas-off it will oversteer, so during these sharp bends i will play with the gas pedal to keep the car on course. i am able to do about 70kph safely around the BKE(PIE) exit at bukit panjang

Re: Features that I never knew

ok let me add something.. did you notice there's a small storage compartment below the light switch?

Incidentally the opposite is also true. If your windows and sunroof are open and you hold down the lock key, the windows and sunroof close. The mirrors also fold in but apparently only on the new LCIs (not sure if pre-LCI has this feature.. my boss say don't have)

Ahhh.. I never tried that.. I once lifted my rear wheels quite high making a right turn from AMK Ave 1 to Sembawang Road. Scary stuff.

The reason our bimmers got very few compartments here and there to put stuff is becos

A bimmer driver needs nothing extra. A bimmer is all he needs.

haha :lol2:

hm... how about the feel you mentioned is really due to front wheel drive vs. rear wheel drive?
