Hi all...

Okay, she's not a BMW...

Basic Stats:

- Org Reg June 2001
- OMV 40k
- COE 31.5k
- 3rd Owner
- 88,000 kms
- Org TTC180 FWD
- 5sp Manual

What I've done:

- Took a stock car and upgraded almost every possible thing
- All wear-n-tear parts were either replaced or upgraded in Mar '05
- List of upgrades are too long (and slightly embrassing) to list

Brief:

I've got invoices (most of them) to prove the expense at which I went to put my baby together, and she's also got bits on her that are simply not available here in SG. The number of miles she's done will be of no concern because when I took her in, she spent almost 2 months (documented too) on a hoist, engine dropped for over a month, and all worn hoses, cables and other parts, were either replaced with orginal or better parts and therefore am confident to say that she's now in better shape than when she first rolled off the showroom floor in June '01

I can honestly say that she's a whole lot more fun-around-town than a M3 (and a whole lot cheaper to maintain), cos I've got one too... Don't anyone get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that the TT is a better car, cos of course its not... but in town, with a manual box, IS more fun...

I don't 'have to' sell her and I really feel its a shame to gut her up to export cos she's in too good a shape to be simply exported... Reason why I'm thinking of letting her go is simply cos I'm itching to get get something else, but can't afford a stable of cars and so 'something's gotta go, before something else comes'...

For serious buyer, Invoices, Dyno-charts, and even a chat with my mechanics, are all available, I've got no problems taking him/her out for a spin.. but no low-ballers or joy-riders, please..

It's got front Stoptech BBK with cross-drilled rotors black color caliper rite?

Re: Feeler... May wanna let go my non-bimmer...

Yup.. that be moi.. thanks for the compliment.. hope to find her a new home locally.. cos it would be a very sad day indeed, if I had to watch her being ripped apart and put back to 'factory'..

cheers, and thanks again..

I'm putting out this feeler, cos I'm a bit half-hearted as to whether or not to let my baby go... I'll let her go only if price is right...

UPDATE:

I've decided... she's gotta go...

I've another 2 weeks to find her a new home, or else the poor girl's gonna stripped and either sold locally in 'stock' form, or exported... cos I decided not to wait til the 'very last minute' to sort everything out...

Here's the breakdown:

PARF Rebate @ 01 June '06 = $51,997
COE Rebate @ 01 June '06 = $15,797
Total Paper Value = $67,794

Conservative Body Value @ 50% of OMV = $20,000

Total Upgrade Works = >$65,000 :ultrasho: :screwedu:

Don't think it can get more transparent than this... Do the math, folks, and at $120k, she's a good buy...

Else, its to the chopping block, and someone with a TT who's looking for bits, will wind up being very happy... and me being :(

Cheers...

Re: Feeler... May wanna let go my non-bimmer...

oh... btw... she puts out as much bhp, and >20% more torque, as an E36 M3...

...tho I'm not suggesting that she's better than an E36 M3...
