first servicing for X1

My question is kinda stupid. What should be the mileage for first servicing? My OBC was reading 7000km sometime ago but now showed 6000km. i dun suppose its a count-down register but ......

the service interval mileage is not a straight line countdown...

it is suppose to guage the remaining mileage before service by the condition of the engine oil. So how you drive and what kind of traffic conditions, all matters towards the countdown.

End of the day, the servicing mileage inbetween, should be relatively close to 12,000 km... or at least my 320i is...

My first BMW service at 15,000km, second service at 27,000km, now my ride 37,000km but don't intend to service cos changing ride... So far still drive very well, no complaints.

From your experience , how good is BMW in term of maintance. ? Is the car durable . Meaning like Toyota, only brake ,oil change basic service stuff.
Or the car itself need a lot of attention. Electric problem.etc

no diferrence in term of standard servicing comparing bmw vs toyota
engine oil + oil filter = 10-12k interval

then at 40/60/80/100k milleage wear&tear parts like

air con filter
fuel filter
spark plugs
brake pads and rotors
atf fluid & filter
coolant flush
etc etc etc

just that when things breakdown, the parts are expensive compare to japan/korea car

Thanks for the info, my friend owned VW and these car fall apart easily.
First sunroof faulty, opened itselft
Then AC breakdown, then power windows dead. Yet the car only a month old.
Lucky still under waranty

if you get a bmw lemon, the car will be in the workshop more on the road too

Touchwood. So far so good for my ride. Only check light currently is to change brake pads. Other han that all fine.

It's my 2nd BMW already so far no issue at all. Only when changing the break pad much more expensive than my first car, toyota.
