by steering.. you mean steering wheel?
funny. i was just reading if its possible to do the reverse. put a newer steering wheel to an older e36.
i read that the airbag in the e36 is single stage while in e46 its 2 stage.
why would you want to do this? what do you like about the e36 steering wheel?

hahaha...i really like my old school e36 m-tech2 steering wheel, moreover, my e46 steering in the non-multifunction one.. so ermmm...thinkning if its possible to do the reverse of what others do..hahahaha...
