Floor Mats for your Bimmer?

Hey fellow forumers, I just collected my car yesterday and having real fun driving it in the weekends. But one question, do you all get another floor mats for your Bimmer, the velour floor mats supplied seems to get easily dirtied.... Intending to get those 3M floor mats, any special mats to recommend?

My ride is an E90 btw, 320i, sparkling graphite, with black interior!

U can get the 3M matt custom cut to fit the foot well.
Many hv done so for their E46 models

Tap ur shoes before u enter ur car... that will prevent your mats from getting dirty easily.. Ask SL2 to teach u.

My SE gave me a set of 3M-like mats for my E90 which velcro onto the original velour. I later ordered a similiar mat customised for the boot. Perhaps you can ask your SE if he/she can do that for you.

I was given a set of 3M for the Odyssey and yucks it feels horrible......... the valcro came off after a few months...... I will stick to the orig floor mats ................. yucks and it is b*&&%$ heavy!!!!!!!!!!! do you know how much extra weight u have to carry?????

I drove a few days without the 3M mats and the BMW mats dirty very easy.
Then my SE also gave me the 3M mats. They really work, trap all the dirt deep inside. Then during washing and clearing then all the dirt come out.
Best things in the world... They look quite good too because of the nice fit.

Does the 3M (or 3M look alike) mats come in the size to fit for the E90? Cos I think the footwell area is a bit odd-shapeed right? So was wondering the 3M mats you all were talking about comes from PML as a BMW OEM product of purchased from those DIY stores and cut the shape out yourself?

Yes, perfect fit for the interior as well as the boot (u know the boot floor is funnily shaped)

you should ask your SE to do it for you. a lot of them have contacts for these kinds of accessories so: you'll be able to get a better price, they'll be able to earn some commission and you'll get a mat that'll fit because their suppliers will already have the template for beemers.

plus if your SE is chio, another reason to ask her out.

My SE also provided the 3m lookalike mats. cut to size and has velco to original mat. looks good.

3M or similer product, you can trim with a bigga pair of cutters............. done that for the mini.
