Nothing else Liao...

R2D;999862 said:Please watch what you recommend, too much new ATF at one go can also damage the transmission. The seals within the gearbox can pop off when too much new fluid is introduced into an old gearbox.
Are you going to assume full responsibility if you instruct the workshop to drop as much of the old oil as possible? I suppose the usual response would be " how come after you change the gearbox oil my gearbox start to leak?"
What some people can get away with does not mean all can get away... I am not trying to flame anyone or any site. Just trying to make sure the other side of the story is told.

Usually, any decent workshop will probably recommend to re-use part of the old ATF (can't recall is it 1/2 or 2/3) with the rest being new ATF to prevent gearbox shock.
seanskye;1000117 said:Looks like many workshops in SG are indecent then. Any rules against blacklisting workshops with f'ed up workmanship that need you to go back 4 times to redo a simple replacement?
Wh0cArEs;1000121 said:erm, you might wanna refer this to CASE.
You changed 100% of the ATF?
