ummm, those slotted rotors are on the wrong side, left is on right, and right is on left, slots going wrong way, better change them to correct sides

Re: [For Sale]: Custom Painted VOLKS RACING TE37

yes i am sure, both those cars are wrong. The slots need to go in the direction of rotation, like tyres do. Or if you prefer driving really fast in reverse, you will be ok.

I just fitted a set to my car in Australia last week, it even stated on the box which direction they need to go, and the part numbers said left and right.

You need a leading edge, not a trailing

Go check some pics of some drift cars and see, or see of the part numbers were different

damn..i didnt know got such thing... i always though slotted dont really matter what direction its facing

Re: [For Sale]: Custom Painted VOLKS RACING TE37

of course it matters, like tyre rotation direction. I will start a thread to see how you guys have fitted them

Re: [For Sale]: Custom Painted VOLKS RACING TE37

i always wondered about the direction of the rotors.... i think slotted ones will slightly 'cut' the pads each time they contact too right? to get the better braking effect...

Re: [For Sale]: Custom Painted VOLKS RACING TE37

I'm aware this might OT, as RaptureM3's is selling his wheels and it might became brake rotor fitment discussion. maybe just RaptureM3 can take it as free BUMP, BOLEH?

since its is something to do with brake so better becareful than sorry.

these are pics found on the AP Racing site
some seem to follow wheel rotation and some against. but none its BMWs

this E90 owner from Japan mod by STUDIE, its slotted rotor direction seem to be similar as RaptureM3

Re: [For Sale]: Custom Painted VOLKS RACING TE37

go to my thread on the topic

the slots are designed to get rid of brake dust, water etc, so they have to be in the correct rotational direction, if they are opposite, makes no sense as they won't do what they are designed for.
