Finally got to sit in the ST and find out how its really like.. 1st things 1st, this isnt my ST..
The recaro buckets are really comfy and the suspension does not crash over road surfaces like air suspension set in sports mode. Well, yea, its on the hard side but it aint uncomfy.
Well, comfort aside, the car has a really well planted chassis and feels extremely falt while cornering.even for the passengers behind.. Especially for a FWD. Was expecting my sisters, who were the passengers, to fly around in the backseats like in the Beemer 7 when my dad drives.
however bein only 2 days old.. it needs to get runned in to get the full power of the turbo...
Funny thing is even when changin gears before 3,000rpm. the 2.5L turbocharged volvo unit feels extremely torquey. Turbo mustve kicked in a very low rpms. like 1,500 thereabouts
I really wanted to get a 1st hand experiance of the ST's well tuned chassis. Reason being that this was a highly anticipated car that got praises from almost every mag.. Also i loved the way Clarkson drove the ST hard into a corner and finishing in a beautiful powerslide.
Some of YOUs may noe the owner of this car.. but im not sayin.
Anywayz price wise has risen due to the COE and new owners will not get the touch screen center console with GPS and colour reverse camera.. But seriously, the handling and performance of the car really dominates everything..
