Front and Back (Stock) tyres different size?

Today, I drove my F10 to a tyre shop planning to rotate, then the guys told me cannot because the size different! Upon checking then realize the stock comes in different size F: 245/45/18 B: 275/40/18. The guys also say this is common. Can any bros please help confirm?

Yes - the stagger configuration is common - depending on your rim. Are you the first owner or is this a 2nd hand F10 that you recently purchased?
