joon;271097 said:I have a complete set of rear M3 brakes, consists of:
1. M3 rear calipers with 40mm piston, ///M logo engraved on the caliper
2. M3 312mm vented rear rotors, (bigger than the DC5 Integra front Brembos)
3. Complete 4-piece Brake lines
4. Rear parking brake shoes
Selling at $250
Please read carefully before asking any questions:
1. This will fit any E36 with rear disc brakes, but you will need to modify the rear brake shoes, this has been done quite often in the USA and other countries with a more developed car modding scene. I am NOT a workshop, so you'll have to get your own garage to do it, it's not diffcult and any competent workshop should have no problem performing this modification
2. The calipers and rotors are direct bolt-on, only the brake shoe needs to be modified.. the 312mm fills up the rear wheels nicely, especially if you have 18" rims, but you must have at least 17" rims to clear the brakes
3. The rotors have about 60% left, still good for at least a year.. replacement zimmerman 312mm M3 rotors can be bought from Eng Soon at $150 each
4. The price is at $250, which is dirt cheap for a BBK, so please don't bargain. However, I usually give discount to sincere buyers or DIY-ers willing to give it a try.
5. This is a worthy, low-risk DIY project for an experienced E36 owner wanting something different. The M3 shoes are Ø 180 mm, the non-M E36 shoes are Ø 161 mm.. what most people do is to cut off the inner bracket from the 161mm brake shoe as well as the 180mm brake shoe and weld the 161mm bracket to the 180mm brake shoe.. this has been done many times before in the States. This mod is also similar to the E46 330i rear brake upgrade for E36's done by Zionsville Autosport

WHy are you selling? You got a really nice carAs a RWD project car.. the E36 is probably the best option out there.. you can build a 500hp E36 for less than half the price of an E46 320i base model haha
I think you're referring to the front brakes.. The rear brakes don't mount on any knuckle, they're mounted on the trailing arm, the only difference in the trailing arms between non-M and ///M is that the M3 uses a larger 85mm radial contact wheel bearing, whereas non-M uses a 75mm bearing.. hence the M3 trailing arm has a larger e-brake shoe to accomodate the bigger bearing housing. They are not interchangeable, however in all other aspects the rear trailing arm is the same other than the bearing housing.. except for the ///M engravingThis is the same for all the E46's as well except for the E46 330i and E46 M3, that's why the 294mm brakes from the E46 325i bolt directly onto the E36
i know who buy the brakes ! gonna see one mata kia happy like fuck..joon;271702 said:*SOLD*
