Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

Guys, no time wasters ok? As Wilson has mentioned, this is not a normal E60 and many others on this forum can vouch for his claim. It is a nicely done up ballzy E60 that is absolutely stunning and well maintained. It's pimped out for cruising...maxed out for performance as well. Best of both worlds. Sweet components, no expense sparred, no corners cut.

Good job Wilson. Can't wait to see your next Great White.

I think it is not good to label a person a joker.

What this person means is that he bought a BMW half the asking price?

He did not mean that he bought the same range of BMW with half the asking price.
He is saying that he saves half the amount by buying a lower range of BMW.
He is not comparing the two BMWs.

Moreover the asking price of the seller is very steep - $180,000 and no less for Feb 2004 BMW 525iA.

Finally the seller agreed to reduce to $160,000 only without the three items: rims, supercharger and brakes.

He actually wanted to buy it but the price is too steep.

Please do not label a person.

Congrats to you in your new car.

Tat is why I ask wat budget you have right from the start.

It's always better to work with wat budget you have & look for the range within the budget.

My price is steep to you bcos you don't know how expensive are my parts....like I've mentioned, my E60 is not stock!!!

Sigh..........

If my car is bone stock, I'll sell at $118k!

When you start modding your E46 then U'll know what I mean......

Cheers

Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

Bump for wilman. It's not everyday that you get a chance to buy a car which was featured in PBMW!!!

Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

I agree with Marklee - the most gorgeous E60 in Singapore and beyond! Free BUMPZ for U.

Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

Agreed Bro. We're comparing apples and oranges here. Wilman's gret white is no normal E60. The amount of work that has gone into it, quality parts and plus track proven...sigh...what to do when some just don't appreciate all the hard work.

*** Perhaps he shouldn't have use the work "Joker" ?... Maybe he meant the whole event is a joke and not directly labelling the buyer??? He might not be labelling u as the joker. Perhaps u are a wee bit sensitive. Just like u mention abt the BMW thingy between a E60 and a E46 ya??? ***

Anyway, Wilman u r rite that there're "Interesting ppl" ard... :errrrrrr:

Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

I think the whole situation has blown out of proportion. Thanks for the PM mgblks and for the explanation. I don't think anyone implied that the E60 is far more superior than the E46. Any offence would be a case of tongue and cheek. It's all harmless fun here till someone takes it personally.

I guess it's all part of negotiation...if seller has advertised a price and listed the specs, you should know what to expect. E.g., if I saw an ad for a used Murcie, and my budget is only 400K, I wouldn't even think of meeting the seller and try to wrestle with the figures. Simple logic. If it's too far from your budget, then seriously, lets not waste anybody's time. If someone wants to perve at Wilson's ride, they can always ask him out for kopi, rather than give him the wrong impression of a potential buyer.

And thanks for suggesting that I should purchase Wilman's E60. Quite smart.

Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

Wilson, you keep getting low-balled offers for your E60. Frankly not surprising if you are so secretive about the power mods you have done. Believing that it is possible to get 380bhp after 60,000km from a 525 without any knowledge or understanding how it is achieved requires a step of faith few people have. If you want people to pay up, you better convince them about where the value is instead of just giving an equivalent one-liner touting "hey, this is one special E60, seeing is believing".

Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

Hmmm....sounds like you need an open house this weekend Bro! A show & tell is in order.

Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

Muahahahaha,

Seeing is believing!!

1st of all low ballers are fine, cos they dun have budget.

Those who have, must at least come & view lah.....tok is cheap.

ACS6...I think he PMed me the same thing. Very sarcastic fella...

Re: FS : My Beloved E60!!

I have sold my previous cars and mods personally before, conducted many viewings, go though lots of negotiation, hence I can fully appreciate the pain, time and effort the seller has to go through. Those who know the car can attest to the power mods. So bumpz for you wilson, taxi ride again before u sell the car okie?
