If the 200 series use SirfStar III chipset, how come the lockon is so much slower than the older series (flip up antenna)? I also agree with you that the software is also much better than the newer 200 series...
The price for the 200 series now is so much cheaper as compare to my previous old Nuvi 200 which I bought more than $400. :furious:

I have a 250W myself..got it as i was attracted to non flip up antenna and attractive price...but after playing around with the 650/660 series...I find the 600 series faster in locking on too though they use the same chipset...software is better too...
still no complains with e garmin 200 series...it is good entry level stuff...
