Re: Giant BMW Engine lelong

I think LL04 is newer than LL01 and LL01 is newer than LL98 plus new and almost all BMW under 10yrs old uses either LL01 or LL04... lelong lelong and maybe real engine also become lelong after using

Re: Giant BMW Engine lelong

Giant carries Castrol too. The recommended oil for BMW!
1 Litre pack is cheaper (buy 4 pack) than the 4 Litre pack!?

Re: Giant BMW Engine lelong

Sorry to hijack this track, should we use LL-01 or LL-04 engine oil? Have searched internet and LL-01 for high sulphur content petrol and LL-04 for low sulphur petrol. Most European car will use LL-04 because their petrol is mostly low sulphur.

Singapore is going to implement Euro-IV for petrol by Oct 2013 so should we switch to LL-04 for next oil change? Dunno whether have any differences between these 2 standards?

And if I go JB often and pump there, then may be more confuse because Malaysia is using Euro-2 standard now.

both also ok de... my thoughts: the difference btw both isn't that great. machiam petrol pump 95 and 98 a lot of difference?

Re: Giant BMW Engine lelong

Hearsay LL-04 will have smoother start up in the morning as compare to LL-01 if the petrol is low sulphur.... anyway most of us will change oil around 10K, so think this will not affect us
