You may need to pop in a CD that contains the keys. So make sure you burn a copy of the CD key, in case it ask you for it at the end of the upgrade. OBC will ask for it but in german. Should be avail. in the nav forum as well.

I reckon his would be the v.23 at least...you need the key for upgrade from v.18 only

E46 model cost approx $3.6k

Retrofitting for the E60 is quoted as S$10K by PML.

For E46, I see several feedback (from the forum). Quotations range from $3.6K to $7K to $10K.

I thought $3.6K is on the low side. Anybody actually did the mod? Can the nav display iPOD titles?

Unlikely it is 7k or 10k, unless you called to get a quote over the phone. Price has gone up that drastically in the last 1 yr?? Had a E39 done for $4.9k (all inclusive). The E46 then was going for under 4k. After market ones can be done for 2k+ at Pin Liang (Zion Road), though aesthetically not as appealing.
