Gps

Re: Gps

I think King Map and MapKing are fine, but I prefer the enthusiasts maps because they are updated frequently. See if you can find the Queensway extension or the Kallang-PIE link on your map. You can get the Garmin Que software to work on your PDA and the enthusiasts maps. Checkout that website that KT pointed you to. Also, with Garmin you get really high quality US and Europe maps.

Re: Gps

GPS is just a gadget that u will play with for a few days after which u will find it pretty useless. I have the VDO MS5100 that i removed from my previous car, and currentky using the BMW GPS on my car, personally the VDO is better. both maps are not fully updated.

Re: Gps

Whether you continue to use GPS depends on the person. Say this morning. Wanted some Nasi Lemak, looked up Makansutra forum and found one highly rated one I never tried before next to Boon Lay shopping centre. Programmed it into my Garmin and was there in 20min snacking into it. It helps that the enthusiasts that created the Singapore Garmin map are foodies :)

BTW, it was good, but a bit sweet for my taste. The rice was very fragrant. Still prefer Punggol Nasi Lemak.
