Greeting from newbie - dashboard rattle on unsmooth road

Hi.. greetings to seniors,

I am new to bmw world with new f30 320i.....

Just notice this morning that my 200km 320i f30 has terrible rattling noise in the dashboard... on the right sight just next to steering wheel, when I drive in an unsmooth road or tru speed trap.

Some friends told me it is steering rack problem?

I had that sound too...realized its from the IU card reader...the card would vibrate causing sounds...just put a piece of paper in between and the sound is gone!

Rrrr.. found the problem... it is waterbottle i put i the car rattles... hahahaha... now its a quite car...

Welcome aboard, good that you found the problem before some idiot workshop says it's your gearbox rattling and you need to pay $10.5k to change it.
