Hi to all,
Bought a 323i Highline sometime in Feb 08. Been enjoying the car ever since.
But at the same time, also have to face various common issues with the car, like the moldy smell from the aircond upon starting the engine. Have tried the various method suggested in the forum but have yet been successful.
Also, the auto-trans proved to be iffy in the beginning (it liked to maintain at the higher gear when you lift off you feet, such that when you need to accelerate off thereafter, its lethargic for a few seconds while it decides to shift down :screwedu. Had the car brought in and its firmware upgraded (took 2 days for that ), and the auto-trans proved to be much better now..... but still not at the level expected.
And the aircond generate a clicking sound (click, click, click.....) everytime the auto function requires the flow to shift down to the foot well area. Still no resolution there as I could not replicate the issue when I brought the car in for service.
Anyway, just wanted to share something I got from the web regarding puddle lights for the E90 which is on the door handle, and also seems to be on the side mirror as well from thr reflection off the car's body. View attachment 18162
Not sure whether can this retrofitting into our local e90. What do you all think?
