Grinding noise and car vibrate

Dear bros , have anyone experience this before,

If you get a much louder knocking and after During acceleration and letting go of the gas pedal, there is a grinding noise and the car vibrate very badly and rpm drop to a point like it is going to stall the engine.

Please help.....

Might be ignition coil.

From the way you describe - it's like misfiring / knocking ...... If it's that obvious - it would usually throw a code ....

Doubt its the problem with spark plugs.Usually spark plug failure you will feel lost of power but not the type of symtoms you are facing.Most likely misfiring,should be ignition coil failing.

could be fuel pump

Had this same issue on my Mini Cooper S. Could be the fuel pumps, spark plugs or ignition coil. Mine turned out to be due to the ignition coil. Hope u sort it out soon. Cheers.

Thanks all, I just change my plugs seems like ok for now....No more vibrations and rpm drop till engine stall when letting go accelerator after sudden acceleration. However there is still ocassional grinding noise ....sounds like coming from midsection of the car

The grinding sound - is it coming from your tyre area? IF that's the case, one possibility is your wheel bearings?
