Grudge Match - The Saga Continues......

Stock market of course. Collecting watches is a waste of time.
Beg to differ. If you have a fervent eye, watches, in itself as an asset class, is not a depreciating asset. I have seen trades with huge profits on the likes of Lange and Patek. Other tiers watches have claimed value retention over the years. All this in the wake of emerging secondary markets for used watches. And more savvy collectors. So it is not a waste of time. Get these facts right.

On the contrary, stock market investment is about timing and the power to diversify. So if you allow for beta/risk-adjustment, stock market carries higher risks than collecting watches - especially if you are risk-averse.

Korea was partitioned by the United States and the Soviet Union or by the United States and China?
Bet it was US and China.

Now, which is a "waste of time"?

Spending thousands buying Gucci and LV handbags (Ladies), or

Spending thousands modding car?

It was between the Americans and the Russians actually.

I'm a guy...so I'll say buying branded goods is a waste of money. Modding my car is more shiok as I'll enjoy driving it even more.

Engineer..

Which is more mystifying:

Lengendary greats always pass on at a young age: Alexander/ Genghis Khan etc..

OR

Humans always ponder about what might have been through history books?

the first one is not really mystifying...look at what they did. They were involved in war so only the young ones cud go to war and obviously risked their lives.

The Noble cause the owner was gracious enough to let ppl seat in it. Plus there's only 2 in SG.

Was there more E46 or E90 at yesterdays meetup?

For now it's still E46. But it won't be for long I guess....

Would you prefer to take your annual leave at the end of the year and having to fight for it with your colleagues or would you prefer to take it at other time of the year?
