Becuase you are using the ang mo thinking to interpret Chinese/HOkkien/etc.... I am very sure your Chinese vocab very limited at about 400 words max? Don't ever over estimate yourself, now lim peh max 800 words(used to be around 1500 words during my high school days).
I can see many races are very proud of what they are, speak their mother tongue but not for the Chinese in SGP. Japanese meets jipoon lang will speak Jipoon...ditto for Korean speaks Korean, Hong Konger in Canto, Taiwanese in Hokkien or Chinese, Teck kok lang also speak German except the f-type Chinese (Singaporean - majority) speaks to fellow Chinese in engrish.

2 door shud be cheaper eg golf gti

most likely than not a 2dr version of the sedan is always more ex too... a 2dr gti cheaper than a 4dr meh?
the only thing for sure its the image a 2dr portrays...more sporty / sleek n less space... haha

It's depending on MOQ and who's doing the marketing for it.
In general less material used/produced should be cheaper.

For this case
Yes the mark-up is very much higher for BMW 2 doors. (if MOQ meet for production, the 2 doors BMW should be cheaper to produce than 4 doors BMW, must be same series/engine/spec)
No for VW and some Jipoon makes 2 doors
