Good evening bros,
I have just installed the GruppeM Ram Air Intake system for the F30 328i from Maximus Racing.
Below are some pictures:

There is also a small "air scoop" or air deflector that helps increase the airflow and direct it to the opening towards the left of our grille.
As you can see, the kit is snuggly fitted into the engine bay, and the degree of workmanship from GruppeM is top notch (as you can always expect from GruppeM). There is just about enough clearance from the bonnet which I believe GruppeM has carefully engineered for.
After installation, the change in sound is immediately noticeable. The suction when the pedal is depressed is slightly audible with the windows up past 2 to 2.5k RPM. (This is specially so in Sports mode where the RPM is kept higher, so this kinda prevents the wifey from knowing any difference when they drive in comfort mode :sneaky![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
A harder depression of the throttle immediately sends the car into a much more sporty growl. What I like best is the sound when the car changes gear or when you let off the gas.
Will be uploading a video from GoPro to capture the sound soon. Stay tuned.
Lastly, I must thank Daphne from MR for making this possible... I went down without an appointment as I knocked off early, but almost lost the chance to install on that day due to a pretty packed garage. However, Daphne quickly checked and noted that a car was almost done.
The labour for installation is pretty extensive, with the removal of the bumper. All in all, it is about ~2 hrs of work.
Kudos to the staff from Maximus Racing =)
