Re: guys.. hv u seen this??

Looks legit. Wonder if the button is just a trigger or is it possible to have it permanently enabled by shorting the pins

Re: guys.. hv u seen this??

has any brudder or sista done tis b4?

looks like i can hv sports mode afterall...

Re: guys.. hv u seen this??

the wire is home made, so i guess if wired in a closed circuit, it shld be 'on' permanently...

Re: guys.. hv u seen this??

I don't think it's a closed circuit, looks like a "toggle"?

Re: guys.. hv u seen this??

Read yesterday too, inside the clip was using a switch to turn on the function, feel like trying too.

Re: guys.. hv u seen this??

Hey Folks

I've done it. it's a toggle switch.
I've posted some pictures of it on my profile.

I diy.
switch = 50 cents, wires = $1.60, pins i canibalised from old pc parts, solder iron and some solder.
was a fun project.

Not sure. You may want to check out the US or UK forums...

Isn't sport mode the same as DS mode, which you activate by shifting the gear lever?

for higher spec cars with dynamic drive, the steering becomes heavier but since mine does not have this feature, its more or less same as DS but I find the shifts smoother as it shifts at a lower rpm than DS.

Re: guys.. hv u seen this??

i suspect the pre LCI e60 is already running the same engine ECU map revision which has both normal and sport mode parameters as in LCI model.
otherwise how does the system know what parameters to switch to with a push of a button?

Re: guys.. hv u seen this??

no i mean electrical wise, i no expert but i mean change the toggle to a 'closed' circuit... then permanently sports mode 'on'.

Then FC will suffer like hell.
