Your 2001 520i is the E39 model. E46 refers to the 3 series. Look under Bazaar. Joshua is selling the front lights only.

What's that please? Is that the small little fog lights at the front bumper housing?

the light switch assy he means is the light control module, the switch in the cabin that we use to turn on the lights.

the color coded trimming he means are actually the trims in the headlights itself, should be something like this
