Re: Hello, here is my intro!

Hi and welcome to the forum....

I pump my tires at the tire shops...cos I da man... atas....

best time to pump tires is first thing in the morning when the roads are cool.... and travelling to air pump is less than 3km.... but thats all theory....cos I dun really stay near a tire shop that is less than 3km from my residence....and I dun wake up at 5am in the mornings... and the tire shops dun open until 9am plus or so for some.....which IMHO has caused the roads to become a bit warm... so in the end, I go to the tire shops and deflate the tires

I pump caltex 98 or esso 98...but never V-power cos the gas station mini mart at esso / caltex have more things to buy.... plus the DBS ATM at Esso stations or OCBC ATM at caltex gives me greater convenience to refill my wallet with my fortnightly allowance of $100 in $10 bills denominations.

I set my aircon temps at 20 - 21 degrees celcius on low fan speed and internal circulation cos I love the cabin to be nicely chilled eventhough the infratint tinted windows block out 99% IR and UV transmission....plus the paint work is nicely groomed by Revol with a combination of diamond brite and 'glass coat' to reflect the hot hot sun's rays....

So sorry, after nearly 5 years of lurking around and learning from the seniors here, I felt it was time to finally introduce myself.

My name is wobbles, and I am a BMW driver. That's a big deal, for someone like me who has never seen a big snake lay eggs before!

I am hoping to learn from the seniors here about the best air pressure to put into my wheels, and also about the best type of fuel to pump (and at what temperature should the pumping occur), not forgetting the best and most optimum air conditioning temperature setting.

Thank you in advance, and I expect 0 page views for this thread because I am male, and everyone else here is a horsin :lol2:

Hi Wobbles,

Welcome, i am new too, dont believe, please see the post count on the top right of the thread window.

Hearsay Esso is good for city drive, Shell is good for gunning, especially those pump in JB one, in this recent, i discovered that Sinopec also not bad.

On wheel pressure, if you are on staggered, please try 300, continue to pump until you hear the beep sound. For non-staggered, you only need to pump every 20,000km. please dont pump air under hot sun coz it will affect the quality of the air, best time to pump is 2am.

Air-cond, please make sure the micro filter is moisture enough and odour is normal, if no ordour, something is wrong, please send back to AD. I was told workshop in JB not bad too.

Between, do you like stephen chow?
