Hello Sifus!!

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum.

My first car was E90 320i and just bought E60 525i MSport a month ago.

It's a Japan Spec 2007. Havent do any mods yet.

Did Frequency conversion, MP3 and TV in motion. Next will be Multimedia interface, so that can add on DVD, GPS and Reverse Camera.

Hope to get some advices from all the sifus here.

Mine came with BMW Nav. I hear it is like 800 bucks each time I want to upgrade the Map DVD. Wonder if it will be cheaper to switch to third party add on?

How much is the option that you are planning?

i heard the MMI about $350..

third party GPS about $300

so consider its very cheap.. hehe.

What is this MMI? Is this the map for the device? If so, where do want get it as I saw one vendor posting as 2500+GST for the map DVD update

its multimedia interface bro. must fix it so that it can enable you to plug in 3rd party GPS to your idrive system. it also enable you to add reverse camera, DVD player and etc etc.

I'm still looking for the best MMI in the market. lets see.
