:) reminds me of Temburong, and the R&R in BSB.. welcome!

Ah..Temburong.it's only accessible by boat..To use car we have to go through Malaysia(Sarawak).Been to Temburong once..It's nothing much there...:)

Re: Hello.

Beautiful E36... actually, I grew up there while my dad was working there during the late 70's. Still remember the petrol being very cheap (20c/L!) and going for long drives to Kuala Beliat and seeing all the pumping stations (think they were called donkeys, or something)...

Is there a new ruling now that older (>3 yr old) cars can't be imported into Brunei?

Any pictures of the wonderful Sultan's palace!? :)

Oh...So how was Brunei?Sorry i don't have any pictures of the Sultan's palace and it's hard to take picture of the palace. It's so far in and heavily guarded!!And my camera lens can't reach that distance.

Brunei's wealth comes from Belait(Seria town). Many nodding donkeys!

Brunei has strict imports on used car from Singapore. Reason-Most car dealers complain that they don't make money.Brunei is very super strict when comes to importing used luxury cars.Merc/BMW /Porsche dealer here is owned by the Royal family. They want to make money.
Before there 're lots of used Mercedes Benz S class in Brunei from Singapore.Since the new ruling, only used Jap car less than 2 years can be imported.Used luxury car totally can't be imported to here unless it's a personal car that you used it for 2-3 years in the country you're staying.I mean for Bruneian..

Re: Hello.

Wow.. you must be prestigeous to have a 328i.. Welcome to the forum. I envy most is the Sultan's fleet of superfast pleasure crafts.. e.g. Fountain, Thunderbirds, Cigarettes.. all highly souped up with horsepower oozing from the ears.. Well at least once upon a time.. I had a Donzi 38 offshore but with a measely twin 545 (400 hp each).
