[HELP] Engine Stall + lost power ..

Hi All,

My friend driving a 2005 E90 320i with mileage at around 108K.

Recently, he experience engine stalled during idling. Have to push the start button again to start the engine. He had already changed the oil separator but problem persisted.

The other problem he experienced twice was that his car was unable to move off from a slope. This happened at the People Park Centre car park gantry where is located at an uphill slope, after payment when he tried to move off no power from the car when pressed on the accelerator. He tried a few time depressing the accelerator till max before the car jerk forward and move off.

Any kind advice again on what is wrong with his car?

Most likely like another bro says it, the most likely suspect is the valvetronic unit is kaput

If staying in the West, go see Dr Rod at R2D he will be able to diagnose correctly

lol today i was also at peoples park carpark omw up. then got stuck at gantry coz car too low and rear left wheel hanging in the air. maybe yours also lowering spring sibo
