Hard to believe. I think you should pull the error codes out and have a look.

I know it is hard to believe but for the benefit of doubt as the inputs are from authorised BMW servicing centre. :thinking: The Sensor got into confusion mode.

Odd. It means your car has a tendency to knock ?

yes. they cleared the fault code, and i pumped a full tank of 98 (well, as much as i could)

and they asked me to monitor, and also come back in a week. if the fault code resurfaces, then yes, maybe it might be something else.

erm. i can share.

only fault code i had, knock sensor.

the other was a faulty brake light bulb, which i seriously dont think is related.
