help!! fellow 1M owners!

Hi all, i was cruising on the ECP at 3am in the morning just now on the way home, and suddenly the car started to chime, and many warning lights came out, such as the DSC failure, FTMS failure, ABS failure and start assist failure.

i slowed to a crawl of 40-50km/h, then it suddenly went off, and within a few seconds it came back again. i stopped at a bus-stop, and restarted the car (off engine, ignition and restarted again), and after that the warning lights went off. strange isn't it?

Anyone experienced something similar?

Not experienced anything like that at all... suggest you take it to MA to get checked...

7th month + early morning hours

Go home take a branch of pomegranate leaves and soak it in a copper basin of water then sprinkle the water on all your sensitive electronic equipment, e.g. ECU, using the branch.

Not sure if it's relevant, but the last time i had something similar happening to me was with my E46 330Ci. That happened after long period of idling at some secluded area, so if that scenario is applicable to u as well, u might wanna consider varying your "pattern" somewhat :D Usually, it goes away after a while.

I was merely doing my part to help fight dengue by smoking them mozzie bastards to death with my exhaust. The dengue cases went down quite significantly as a result :p

Seems like your CPU meant with some force(s) not of this world.... hmmm

Re: help!! fellow 1M owners!

On a serious note, if your situation is the same as my E46, it's gonna be quite unpredictable. The 1st time it happened to me, i had the car towed back to PML. The following morning, it was alive and kicking so they couldn't detect anything wrong. The 2nd time it happened, i merely shut down the car and waited for a while. As expected, it came alive again.

Re: help!! fellow 1M owners!

I have a similar experience before long time ago on 530i. It turns out to be my battery that had a large drop in voltage when there is a sudden demand of current supply. After I changed to a new set, the problem was gone.
