Help Help..."click" Sound On Gear Shift 520i??

Hi...i just got my new 2 weeks old 520i, will like to check is it normal to have a "Click" sound when shifting the gear shift knob from "P" to "D"?? It seem like i did not noticed the "click" sound on the first few days.....

The gear shift, when i change from "P" to "D", or from "N" to "P" there will be a "click" sound... normal?

new car. anything unhappy. go back to PML.
but be prepared for their silly antics and 'this is normal' answers.

test drive another 520, see got the click click sound or not.





and buy the sart sart leather jacket from ST8800 and wear there. look more fierce.

not PML one.... but will still bring mallet and not so sart leather jacket.... i checked with the salesman, knn... told me normal... i will go back again!!!

i think this "chik" sound is normal but varies from car to car and time to time
now i remember my E60 with e gear sometimes have this sound too

Hmm.... yes... sometimes i shift from "D" to "N" then to "P", no click sound... to "D" sure got sound...

mine is F10 3 weeks old.. no sound in my car lei.. or maybe
we can meetup one day and you can hear yourself whether
my car has the same sound as yours..

Working in ubi, if you are nearby.. meet for lunch... cheers..

Sure.... yours is 520i also? I work in Jurong area but always on the go. Go Ubi to meet customers and collect payments too... i will PM you my number.

Just went to workshop check with the boss, told me is ok and normal. Anway already made appointment with the PI workshop to check next Tues. Ask me to send over let their mechanic check.

Sure... think is the initial week... doubts and questions... love driving in it too... smooth and good family car...
