Help Help....Just had an accident

Hi Guys

Very sad to say....but i just got an accident. Hit someone's back...now the car just got towed back to PML Alexander....

1. The car won't start anymore....

2. Got the car in Feb 2007 (this year)

3. First time owner

4. Excess is $500


Any ideas what i should do next besides going down to PML for the paper work?

It will be fully covered by insurance for my car and the other party right? I only need to pay the $500 excess right?

and not to mention ur increase insurance premium next year or ur NCB gone.

You will just have to keep calling them regarding the repairs of your car. Do not worry too much about the insurance, since you paid the premium, let them settle among themselves. After this incident, you will be a good driver. Safety come first

the purpose of buying insurance is to let others handle the problem when accident, so just leave it to the expert, just make sure they do a good job to repair ur car.

Bro,

Relax. Most impt is that you and the other party are ok( i assume since you did not mention injuries). Probably PML will help you to file Own Damage Claims. You pay the excess. PML will quote you a timeline to get the repairs done. How long depends on the extent of damage. Honestly, they ain't that bad.

Unfortunately your next insurance renewal will see a reduction in your NCD or a loading. But let's worry about that later, shall we?
