actually junior or senior doesn't matter.....doesn't mean senior say that everything is machiam bible, everyone is entitled to their tots.
sometimes we also blur, read posts in one way while TS maybe trying to express another thing.....but nothing too serious lah..haha
so i guess what u saying is yes u can afford it, just that u prefer to get a e46 that caught your eye and sway sway its a coe car that most banks don't like to loan to nowadays.
i think perhaps a more feasible solution is to up the downpayment and take a lower loan which some banks might consider.

Hi totoseow, I do not know who you are or if you're a senior/junior member on this forum or whatnot. As it appears you are not getting your facts right before commenting, but I will however listen to Wobbles and not take offence at your prematurely judgemental words.

FIrstly, I have the budget for a newer Parf car, but I will take it you know these cars cost almost the same / even more expensive than an E46 with renewed COE. By this I am referring solely to monthly installments.

I am just thinking that for the approx same amount, wouldnt it be nicer to get a car I actually like, rather than one that is newer but not what I like. On this note, you are free to share your views. I am not buying a car just for its marque, and you're going too far ahead to judge. Aren't we all on this forum just for the simple reason that we like Bimmers?

How the hell the thread progressed to judging young people about not having the drive and will to work for things they want, I do not know. I take it your impression about young people being spendthrift and lazy comes from your own personal experiences. Again, I stand corrected, feel free to clarify or correct me.

I'd be happy to share with you some of my background info if you want, before you actually proceed to judge. Just not on the forums though. Drop me a message, I will come by and we can have a drink, and the added benefit is you can get to know me before judging. First round drinks will be on me, so fret not.

All in all, I appreciate all you other fellas' comments / opinions so far.

How about my suggestion on in house loan?

I drive E36 for 9 yrs pay twice COE on the car. Sold last year when it turns 19yrs old to a young guy pay full cash. I Kenna rejected a loan trying get COE Porsche. So my suggestion quality?

I'm young but not thaaaat young la. Working adult in my mid twenties. Young or not you guys decide. I definitely don't need a guarantor for a loan, but I'm just saying if need be I can provide one. I'd do anything the bank wants for a COE car loan la.

You guys sound like a fun bunch, first round drinks will be on me when we go have a drink ok.

I got some in-house loan rates alr, but the interest rates are like 5%! Looks like I'd have to look at something else then.

5% is norm for a COE car interest........
Probably the amount you gonna pay plus interest.....can buy you a used E90? before COE interest is not as high.................if not never drink also will go high (5%)

1700 is good lor...my starting pay is 900 bux. i learned things the hard way. swim or sink type. so i dun believe in mincing good advises. ts can take it as an attack or he can learn something i dun really care.
