Help on Homologation - how fast?

My ride just docks and i'm trying to get it on the road before the i travel out of town on christmas week and it needs to go through full homologation.. sianz! anyone has any idea if LTA/Vitas can release approval within 2 weeks?

also was told it is wise to register the car within same manufacturing year to avoid hassle on future resale price pressure.. is this a good practice or sales guy just pulling a fast one to close the sales and move on?

now that it is cutting too close to end of year dateline.. the sales person is telling me it is ok blah blah! what a load of bull!

not one and only lar.. i guess one of the first of the many variants ..face lift + DCT + yada yada yada..

It is true it will take 2-3 weeks for the paper work. A friend waited this long for his panoramic roof A3.

What hassle? In fact its better to register next year, a 2009 car will fetch higher than a 2008 one. I suspect the salesgirl just wanna lock in sales this year.
