Candidates are Mike, Ah Boon, Yew Lip, ADSM, in no particular order!

If its simple, then they won't respray the bumpers, but rather blend it in...

Cheers & Welcome to THE BMW Forum!

Hi Guys,

Could someone please recommend a good body/paint shop? I need to get some dents and scratches removed from both my front and rear bumpers on my E60. I need a good job done on my Sapphire Black paint job. It'll be simple touch up jobs but I wouldn't like to have patches after the paint dries up.

Any recommendations (and possibly how much I'd be looking at)?

Hey dindae, I'm thinking of doing some touch up also, got quite a few chip marks on my bonnet after the Sepang trip. Our rides are the same colour, maybe can get discount

Eeek, I'm definitely wearing a bra before going to the next next track day :shoot:

Hi eggz,

Someone over at e60.net has recommended Ah Long at Pandan Crescent. I have also read through the forums here and most people are recommending Mike, but his contact number is not working anymore. I will most probably swing by tomorrow to these palces to get a quote. I'll definitely mention about sending in 2 cars. I'll post once I have some more info. Thanks.

My dear girl, you really shouldn't be running around without a bra...

Hi g0yogi,

Thanks! I just spoke with Mike on the number you gave. He sounds really pro and he knows his stuff. Quoted me S$400 for both front and rear bumpers. They'll have to do the whole bumper and not just the affected portion.

Eggz,
As for your car, it seems that there is a lot more work and time involved and Mike has done work like this before. He'll have to have a look at the car before quoting. I am trying to schedule my ride to be in on Monday (it's still tentative). No change in price if we send in the car together. :(

Thanks guys for the heads up.

Bro, had my door resprayed after it got hit by vandals by adsm. oure ride is the same colout saphire black and it matched up perfectly. Pricing pretty reasonable as well. Mike is without doubt good, but his price is a tad high.

It really depends on what sort of end result you are looking for. If you're fussy and want top quality, go for Mike or Ah Boon. Otherwise, go for the others. You get what you pay for.

MY car was VANDALISED last Night.... Pro job... deep scratch on both left door panels and front bonnet...

My heart really hurts :verysad: :verysad: ... worse then my first rejection in primary school.... going for 2 weeks hibernation / mc :verysad: :verysad:

Wats wrong with these vandals...knn

Hi eggz,

No problems. I had a guy reverse into my rear bumper on Thursday. I also spoke with Ah Long from Teban Garden Crescent, another recommendation from e60.net and he also quoted me S$400 for both front and rear. It's the same price as what Mike quoted as well. So, I suppose that's market price.

I also met a really nice gentleman today who runs a body shop in Sin Ming (Block 14) unit #01-01. He saved me S$400 today as all my bumper need was a bit of wax and WALLAH!!!! A miracle!!!! What I thought was a nasty scratch on the rear bumper, turned out to be the other guys paint from his bumper on mine. His was a NEW Nissan Sunny and requires a serious job on his bumper. ;) The owner of this workshop said that the side rear of the E60 is pretty flexible. I was quite taken by his honesty in not wanting to pull a fast one on me. Well, I suppose a Mandarin-speaking Sikh is a bit of a novelty for these guys.

Fwah dindae..saved by a angel. hahaha...albeit with turban. (or was he modern?)

Turbo, where u going to spray ur car? how much?
