Help - Steering vibrates after wheel balancing?

I got a new set of 19 rim but after balancing (for a few times) I can few some slight vibration on the steering when cruising at 80-100 kph. It's quite slight vibration and have gone back and forth to the tyre shop for balancing again. To eliminate the cause, I loan another 19 rim and seems to have the same problem.

When I put back to 17 inch stock rim, the vibration is not so obvious but can feel slight vibration.....

Can anyone bro help to enlighten what could be the possible fault? Any expert workshop specializing in trouble shooting such problems?

Thanks.

I got a new set of tyres & found my steering vibrate till my hand numb at 100km/hr. Did a high speed balancing at UBI. Now 0km - 160km/hr also no vibration.

Peterpan,

It should be the front lower arm bushing problem since balancing can't solve the problem. Can go to R2D to let Rod to check it out.

Didn't mentioned earlier, the bushings were changed by Rod (which he though was the problem), but this didnt help.

I got vibration above 110km/h when fitted a set of replica 18in rims with hub rings. Was told hub rings not tight fit enough but I did not want to experiment with more hub rings so changed back to BMW 18in rims and vibration all gone (tested to 180km/h).

Lesson learnt -- it is best to keep to OEM or branded rims designed specifically for your car model.

I not a technical person but every time I change new tyres I Kenna steering vibration at between 90km - 160km/hr, so I sure go for high speed $40 only. Some say BBK, some say rims offset, some say I drive so fast. Above assumptions are provided all arms are not faulty or rims not damaged.

I did for my E36 every tyres change, lately got my Audi also, the ex owner changed new tyres & only drive 80km/hr, never notice, I took over knn vibrates like hell, do a high speed the next day show index 45 out !! Now swee swee balance to index 0.

Now 180km/hr also steady steady.
