Help!

Hi all, I'm intending to get a pre-owned f30 but found out that the car had an accident before with the following report from PML, hoping to get some advice from experts here if there's any chances that chassis might have been damaged in one way or another.

Thank You!!

i think its best that you get one of the site sponsor ws to do a pre-purchase check on your car before committing.
usually abt 80-120 bucks

I second this, best is to have a body work specialist to inspect the car prior committing on it.

But if I were u, I would try to avoid buying this car given its accident repair history as attached, as the roof frame is also damaged by the impact, most probably the B pillar is also affected, meaning to say most probably the main chassis is affected and the total rigidity of the chassis had been compromised, but this is just my guess and I may be wrong.

Better to have the expert check it out.

Cheers!

Hi all, thanks for your advice! I've already send the car for checks at PML, but apparently, they said that chassis wasn't affected at all. Well, fingers crossed. I've put my deposit and now they refuse to refund. So either I forfeit now, or just go ahead. :( Expensive lesson learnt.

If the deposit amount is not too big, I would suggest to forfeit the money. Bite the bullet and move on to source for another car for peace of mind. Cheers.....

I think you got every right to take back your deposit if they did not tell u beforehand this car is an accident car.

I think there is a "Cooling period" law whereby you can cancel a regulated contract within the cancellation period stipulated by law.
I'm no lawyer but maybe you can find something here: https://singaporelegaladvice.com/la...ntracts-consumer-protection-fair-trading-act/
