Hi everyone. Just got a E90 325i and am enjoying the kicks from an in-line 6, rear wheel drive machine. Having a great time and hoping it lasts without hiccups.

Yup, a while ago. The car that got me started as a petrolhead Nothing to shout about but fun to drive (and mod) nonetheless.

Just encountered an engine oil pressure warning light. It comes on after a fair bit of driving, but oil levels register as normal when checking before driving off. No sign of oil leakage also. Read some old posts on the matter, which gave two solutions. First one is to top up with 1 litre of engine oil, second is to have the oil sensor checked first.

Would like to seek opinions on which is the better solution. Thanks!

Monitor for a few more days if the sign appeared again then top up....1L ( what's your mileage? )

So zhun ah? It's been 8000km since the last servicing also! I just cleared 100k mileage.

Monitor for a few more days if the sign appeared again then top up....1L ( what's your mileage? )
