Melaka is so jammed during the weekends. weekends, early in the morning so many people queue up for the chicken rice ball in the jonker street. For me the taste is so so. for the hotels, many small new hotels are setup near the Kota laksamana area, across the
Ong Kim Wee street.

Hi Deric, welcome aboard! I think SG chicken rice tastes better too. No need to queue like mad either, and sometimes the guy will tell you "no more balls"!

On wkend, Malacca is like little Singapore. Everywhere in the city, u r bound to bump into Sg car. It is either a lot of Malaccan work in Sg or Singaporeans like Malacca a lot.

The best part is only foreigner q outside Capitol Satay Celup.

I worked in KL, every weekend I will go back to my hometown in Melaka. Starting from the afternoon, the road from pengkalan rama will be jammed untill to Jalan Pahlawan. My dad shop is in Jalan Bunga Raya. Sometimes, on Satuday, I complaint to my wife about the traffic jam as I need to pick her up at 5.00 p.m. at Jalan Bunga Raya. I also don't why people are so willing to Q for such a long time to eat satay celup in capitol satay. The quality of the taste has dropped comparing when I eat there when I am still in my 20's

Not fantastic and queue sucks. But damn cheap.
