Hi friends,

My name is Vinod. Though I've been following this forum for awhile now, this is my first post. My family is looking to get our first BMW and I am very excited. However I would like to ask some questions. I don't know if this is the right place to ask questions so if it isn't, please accept my apologies.

We're upgrading from a Camry. We're shopping for a 2nd hand 525XL and I came across quite afew of them at sgcarmart. The price is in the range of 160k-165k for a car under a year old. However today I came across one which had a much higher OMV compared to the most I've seen. Usually they have an OMV of about 52k-53k but this one i saw has an OMV of 66k! I must also mention that this car is about a year old. The price is about 150k. Is this a good deal or am I missing something here? Please advise me as to what I should look out for. the car might be loaded with options. why dun u request for a official print out of the COE and OMV of this car. see if it is legitimate.

car that PML or PI sell has a standard set of features. the more options (bigger rims, niceer steering wheel, better suspensions) u add on, the more the car will cost hence the increase value of OMV as well.

hey guys i also found out that this car has had 2 owners and its only a year old. is this a cause for concern?

To be honest.. Why a 525? The power diff between the 525 and 523 is very little.. If you just want a comfy ride.. Get the 523.. Cheaper and its the same all boils down to options..

With that price u add abit u might be able to get the all new f10 5er 523i..

If power is a concern.. U shud be looking at the 530i at least because 525 imho its in between of nowheres I rather go for lowest cc or highest..

Anyway, once you are in doubt, then dun buy. Get something that u like and comfortable.
