Hi
Just brought a dec 2005 523.
Why BMW? Like to own a BMW. It is every boy dream to own one in his life time. Obviously this is my first BMW.
Why 2005? No money. Really.
Why 523? Need the space. I have a wife and two 13 yr olds daughters.
Plan? Will be driving it for the next 3 years and collect back $27k for next car deposit. And it goes on & on & pay & pay.

Since I going to use for the next 3 years. Can I get advise what parts or stuff I should change now because l do not want to change stuff during the 9th year. I rather change now to maximize my enjoyment of the parts for 3 yrs rather than 1 yr.
Or any advise where I should start to maintain her well.
Thanks.

Not into performance anymore. Forget to mention that I am already 45 year old and cannot drive well anymore.
No need for better looks. Already very impressed by the standard design
I looking to invest some money at the early stage of ownership to enjoy trouble free ride for the next 3 years.
Any suggestionsp

Re: Hi Hi

welcome welcome..... depend on your mileage and whether previous owner/s took care of the car.... Stock or Mod?

Take care of Rotors / Pads / Suspension / Tyres / Hoses / Seals 1st.

Re: Hi Hi

which workshop are you planning to go?

assuming they are familiar with e60, i would just go there and ask them for a thorough check, some thgs cannot see unless hoist car.

assuming you garang, can go STA check and get a grading if you consider it a more independent view.

assuming your lovely daughters are chio, dun post phto online or bring for meetups, cos your PM will overflow and you will start a thread asking how to fend off horsins.

kidding bro, enjoy your stay!
