Re: Hi.. New here....

welcome in. depreciation is pretty standard. about 16k + a year

things u shld look out for are xenon lights, split arm rest between driver and passenger seat, auto folding mirrors. they did not come with older 323's

16k for saloon. this is a very aggressive estimate. yes the 2006 and possibly 2007 might lack those features.

cant be 10k la. too conservative liao. in real world confirm higher.

Re: Hi.. New here....

yo Darrell,

1) $10k is achievable, if you get a used one.

2) If you get a new 323, say at $154k, and say OMV is $40k, your straight line depreciation is $13.4k if you drive all the way to end of 10 years. So still > $10k.
(Of course, if you sell before 10 years, your actual loss is > $13.4k per year.)
The only way you can achieve $10k depreciation per annum, for a new 323, is if you drive it for 13.4 years.

Hope the above mathematical calculation helps.

If you need further help, please post and Professor Slater, Associate Professor Iscoupe and Dr. Hitmee will be able to advise and entertain you further.

Cheers,
Professor Robot
