Hi, Newbie here in a bad mood ....

Switched from Toyota, and bought my first new BMW 316i in Jan. 2014. Not a smooth experience.

Drive train at its 6th month.

Engine fault at its 8th month.

Really losing confidence of reliability of BMW ... Lots of time wasted and inconvenience caused. Hope my is the rare case.

i m sorry to hear that Outlook. I think the 4 potters r made in SA. The straight 6s are german made and have higher QC.

But even then i have to warn you PML servicing suxs and i gave up on them years ago.

I still love the BMs, been through 3 of em before i moved to Mercedes and i m missing my old ride.

Not all 4 potters are made in SA...5 Series including 520i and 528i are very much manufactured in Germany.
