High-speed crash during Orchard Road 'race' leaves car a mangled ruin

Re: High-speed crash during Orchard Road 'race' leaves car a mangled ruin

If you are the owner of this car, nobody is injured, no government property is involved, how to close the case?

1. Report lost?
2. Report car skided, come out see no injury no damaged, so took taxi home?
3. Don't report?
4. Insurance how?

Re: High-speed crash during Orchard Road 'race' leaves car a mangled ruin

Below is what I think:

1. Report lost?
- Many variables, e.g. Public HBD open cp or MSCP, Private property cp or landed property cp? Even public CP or MCSP, there may be survillence cams in public op or MSCP which may prove it was not stolen. Private propery and landed property... report fail.

2. Report car skided, come out see no injury no damaged, so took taxi home?
- Based on damage, cannot be just a simple case of skidded. Even if skidded, its definitely beyond legal speed limit or just reckless driving.... look at the damage. So this report fail.

3. Don't report?
- With the internet era, don't report, Stomp already got e 'reported'. SCDF and Police also on site.

4. Insurance how?
- With witness saying illegal racing, insurance firms can claim it is not liable because it is not an accident.

1. This is in Orchard Tanglin area.
2. Before the bend, a driver cannot see the road condition after the bend.
3. There is a pedestrian crossing at the bend.
4. If i am not wrong, after the bend, there is another pedestrian crossing.

Racing there, if got camera evidence, = driver up lorry.

If a driver runs away after accident. He should maximum penalty. Presumed drunk driving. Simple as that.

Just like if you lose your mrt ticket, you pay maximum fine.

So who is the driver here? Please own up so we can all worship you.
Shaun always looking for idols that try to find limits of their car on public roads.

Tanzy before I can declare you my personal god of the streets. you need to meet up and settle things with the other forumer here who just a couple years ago was proudly and openly talking about doing over 200km/h along Orchard road. Tough to say who the bigger hero to me is.. you or him. Need a battle to decide.

But please be safe. Don't go wrapping your SLK around a tree or jump curbs into drains, etc.

Re: High-speed crash during Orchard Road 'race' leaves car a mangled ruin

The car is so badly crashed with exposed seats I am "amazed" the driver is unscathed with no injury be it internal or external.

Drive safe everyone.

Is the person claiming 200km/h on Orchard Rd the same person that just crashed the white 3 series coupe?

I go really slow. No speed mentioned. Just that the tires are not good in the wet.
I've changed priority. Chicks are not important anymore. Traction is. I need Quattro to prevent myself from tree hugging. My balls shrunk. Sorry I was no able to usurp Ryan as your idol. Next time, ok?

Sir that's a nice face saving recovery after your wife saw your earlier chick/pussy posts and nearly twisted your ear off. It's ok...perfectly understandable.

The only thing that shrinks your balls is when your wife pulls out her rolling pin to clobber you after reading your telling posts.

Sorry I was no able to usurp Ryan as your idol. Next time, ok?

Don't worry I have different categories of idol, so space for many. Ryan is idol in the (Amazed how far he's come despite being mentally challenged) category.

BTW, morons like this OG guy are raising everyone's insurance premiums, creating greater concern among general population and govt. causing further crackdown on mods, speed.
